Weekend Results
On Saturday April 19th, the Illini beat #20 Lindenwood, 14-8. It is the first time in the last 4 years and 7 meetings between us that we have been able to do so. The win puts the Illini in outright first place in our conference with one conference game (Missouri State) to go. On Sunday, the Illini beat Nebraska, 25-5 improving the team to 9-6 and extending an 8 game winning streak heading into the GRLC tournament in 2 weeks.
The tournament will be in St. Louis from May 2nd- May 4th at Lindenwood's stadium. With a win on Friday, the Illini will be a guaranteed #1 seed, and will have a bye on Friday. We hope that many of you can attend. Winning the tournament would send the Illini to the National Championships in Dallas, TX on May 14th-18th. |

Team Dinner
We would like to thank John and Patty Gruber for our team dinner tonight. Thanks for all the pasta, meatballs, salad, garlic bread, and sundaes that you made for us. We know preparing food for 36 hungry guys is a huge ordeal. Our team appreciates your gracious efforts. |
