Lake Forest, IL - The #19 Fighting Illini are set to take on the #1 Michigan Wolverines this Saturday at 4 PM at the Lake Forest High School West Campus (map).  Both teams come into the game having successful seasons, as the Wolverines are undefeated, while the Illini are 7-1.  Both teams are undefeated in conference, with the Wolverines 2-0 in the CCLA and the Illini 3-0 in the GRLC.

Despite being in different conferences, the Big Ten rivals are hardly unfamiliar with each other.  The Illini will be looking to avenge last year’s loss to the Wolverines in Ann Arbor.  Many Illinois and Michigan players will enjoy a homecoming to Illinois.  The game will take place after a high school matchup between Lake Forest and New Trier, and will be broadcast on Comcast CN100 at 8 PM on Sunday April 12th.  Admission will be free.
